Telematica was founded on June 1^st, 1996 by Dr. Wolfgang Lechner. Today our team consists of seven members. In case of need for additional manpower or specific expertise we rely on our pool of external experts. Furthermore we have access to a dense network of European partners, being active in all relevant fields of technology.
To ensure a high degree of awareness and knowledge of our personnel, we co-operate closely with universities offering opportunities for students and candidates.
The company has its major activities in the field of "Transport Telematics", the development and integration of communication and navigation technologies, and services for all modes of transport.

Topics of work include general management support and technical consultancy, seminars and education, project preparation and management, business development as well as marketing and development strategies for new products and services. Besides that, Telematica supports studies for the European Space Agency, the European Commission, and other public agencies and research institutes.
