ObjectivesThe main objectives of GATE are
GATE is supposed to simulate the existence of the Galileo System to users - if possible without limitations. Therefore signals have to be generated in order to be evaluated by a receiver to estimate a user position. This general request can be fulfilled by a number of possible system architectures. Every architecture has special limitations which disturb the whole system. The aim is to find the very specification which matches prior requirements. To be open for future developments and experiments it is necessary to build a flexible, efficient and extendable system architecture. This a fundamental design principle for the GATE development.
GATE System and Experimental Course Project StatusPhase I successfully completed. |
